Andre Bikey will be remembered by some Burnley fans for the temper tantrum in the first leg of the Play-Offs, which saw Bikey sent off for a stamp on Robbie Blake.

But what they should remember about Andre Bikey are the perfomances against the Clarets, as one of the best defenders outside the premiership. He ticks all the right boxes, in terms of a centre half, fast, strong in th tackle, good in the air,  a leader, and passionate about winning.

Bikey passed a medical at Turf Moor on the 17th August 2009, and  put pen to paper on the 18th to enable Bikey to play in Burnley's league game against Premiership champions elect Manchesterr United.

Bikey who at 24, has played in Spain, Portugal and Russia, before Steve Coppell brought the big defender to England, athough at first it seemed his trial at Reading was to be a failier, after being sent off in the pre-season friendley against Örgryte IS for head-butting an opponent! But Coppell stood firm and signed the player, stating that Bikey was  "determined to impress", Andre's first contract in England was a season long loan from Russian side Locamotive, a fee said to be inexes of £1 million was agreed and Bikey signed a contract with Reading till 2010.

Burnley's premiership campaign came to an ebrupt end when relegated after just one season, Andre was one success story he played out of position an numorous occasions, but always gave his all making 26 starts.

The following season saw Andre in and out of the side as both Laws and Howe tried to find a settled defensive partnership, he made just 27 starts.

The start of the 2011/12 season saw Andre Bikey cahnge his name back to Andre Amougou, which will be seen on the back of his number 21 shirt. After a series of costly mistakes Andre was subbed on quite a few occasions and dropped to the bench even left out totally of Eddie Howes matchday squad. No matter what the reasons for his loss of form of concentration Andre will always be something of an inigma, all the talent to play at the very top but lacks something possibly desire?

On the last day of the 2011/12 loan window (22nd March 2012) Andre was moved out on an initial 30 day loan to Championship strugglers Bristol City, after some quite sensational performances for the Bristol side helping in there quest for Championship survival, Andre returned to Burnley 4 days before the Clarets are to take on Bristol City in the last game of the season, and with Andre's contract at an end it seems inevitable that he will enter the pitch at the end of the game to wave goodbye to the Clarets faithful before leaving Turf Moor after a quite eventful 3 years.

Andre will go down in Claret folklaw as possibly the best centre half in the Division, but his incostistant performances throughought his Clarets career will be his legarcy.
